Hi, I’m Karly & I love Scottish food…
Think that Scotland’s only famous for its deep fried Mars Bar and Irn Bru? Well think again! Scottish food is truly diverse, ranging from smoked salmon, to haggis, to buttery shortbread and crumbly tablet that would make your granny proud.
Edinburgh is full of nooks and crannies and, off the beaten path, there exists some of the finest independent eateries, sourcing local Scottish produce.
As a qualified Historian and having lived in Edinburgh for most of my life, I know the city like the back of my hand and love how multicultural it has become over the last 10 years.
I created A Wee Taste of Edinburgh to share my love for the capital’s food, drink and history whilst exploring two of the city’s hidden gems.
Sample a taster of food and drink at each eatery you visit as we walk around two very chic and historic areas of Edinburgh.
